Located in the centre of the village, the versatile facilities at Stoke St Michael War Memorial Hall can be hired for Parties, Receptions, Performances, Community Events, Classes, Meetings and Exhibitions. The Hall has a well-equipped kitchen and a licenced bar to cater for your needs.

Our recent refurbishments include the creation of a large accessible restroom facility with changing station which is suitable for all ages. Ideal for changing young children and working with adults.

The Hall is used regularly by a number of different village organisations and is managed by its own committee. The Hall is registered as a charity (Charity No 304640).

The Hall was built by the residents of the village as it’s memorial to the fallen in World War 1.  The concept was born in March 1919 from which four years of fund raising took place and many activities were organised in the village.  Eventually in 1923 the hall was built and opened for use.

Now it is used by the community of Stoke St Michael and it’s surrounding villages.  We are open on a Tuesday from 2pm – 4pm as a warm hub for tea, coffee and a chat.  The crafty ladies get into action and provide activities for everyone to have a go at.  No experience necessary – just a have a go attitude and a sense of humour!

The memorial hall is available to hire for a range of uses. If you would like to make a booking enquiry then please click here.

We are situated in the centre of our village at the bottom of Stoke Hill.
