Located in the centre of the village, the versatile facilities at Stoke St Michael War Memorial Hall can be hired for Parties, Receptions, Performances, Community Events, Classes, Meetings and Exhibitions. The Hall has a well equipped kitchen and licenced bar, and is fully accessible by the disabled.

The Hall is used regularly by a number of different village organisations, and is managed by it’s own committee. The Hall is registered as a charity (Charity No 304640).

The Hall was built by the residents of the village as its memorial to the fallen in World War 1.  The concept was born in March 1919 from which four years of fund raising took place and many activities were organised in the village.  Eventually in 1923 the hall was built and opened for use.
