The Hall is used regularly by a number of different village organisations and is managed by it’s own committee. The Hall is registered as a charity (Charity No 304640).

The Hall was built by the residents of the village as its memorial to the fallen in World War 1.  The concept was born in March 1919 from which four years of fund raising took place and many activities were organised in the village.  Eventually in 1923 the hall was built and opened for use.
